Offit Kurman has completed a major expansion in its Tysons Corner office. The firm announced the addition of more than 4,000 sq. ft., including 14 new attorney offices to its 8000 Towers Crescent Drive location.

As the law firm celebrates its tenth year in Northern Virginia, the additional space positions the firm for growth in the region and empowers Offit Kurman’s Virginia attorneys to better serve their clients.

The Tysons Corner expansion follows on the heels of momentous growth periods for Offit Kurman in New York City and Charlotte, North Carolina. Those and other recent regional expansions brought several dozen attorneys to firm and increased Offit Kurman’s size by more than 50% in 24 months. A strategic forecast by the firm now indicates a heightened demand for legal services in Northern Virginia and the surrounding area.

Offit Kurman counts among its 26 current Tysons attorneys a former Virginia State Bar President and four Past Presidents of the Fairfax Bar Association. Together, the team operates a full-service office, assisting clients in matters related to Family Law, Estates and Trusts, Commercial Litigation, Business Law and Transaction, Landlord Representation, Real Estate Law, Education Law, and more—anchored by Offit Kurman’s growing platform of 250-plus lawyers and legal staff.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the additional space,” said Offit Kurman Principal and Shareholder Tom Repczynski, an FBA Past President. “I couldn’t possibly have foreseen this measure of success when I committed nearly 10 years ago to anchor what was at that time only a vision of the firm’s future expansion into Virginia.”

That leap of faith has now seen Offit Kurman’s Northern Virginia presence grow from what Tom recounts as a single-desk, sub-sub-lease to a Top 25 firm in the state when the firm’s new offices are filled.

Ted Offit, Offit Kurman CEO and co-founder, acknowledged that the current expansion reflects not only the success of the firm’s commitment to develop a respected presence in Northern Virginia, but also the firm’s future vision.

“This is a big deal for us,” Mr. Offit said. “With our commitment to this new space, we are stating very emphatically to the local legal and business communities that Offit Kurman is ‘all in’ and here to stay.”

To celebrate its expanded Tysons Corner presence, Offit Kurman recently conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosting representatives from the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, plus Firm management, shareholders and attorneys and staff.  An open house event will follow in early 2020.
