Offit Kurman Attorneys to Present on Construction Contracts in August
Offit Kurman Attorneys Robert F. Herrmann and Wojciech “Voytek” Jackowski will present the “Construction Contract Workshop” on August 23, 2022. The presentation will cover topics on understanding construction contract essentials, reviewing bidding documents, reviewing project documents, understanding issues in contract administration and more.

Robert F. Herrmann is the Chair of the firm’s New York Construction Law Practice. He represents design professionals and other construction-related firms, privately held businesses and New York City housing cooperatives and condominiums. Bob acts as general counsel to a number of architects, landscape architects, interior designers, lighting designers, engineers, owners, developers and contractors, advising them on general business matters and representing them in litigation, arbitration and mediation.

Voytek’s practice focuses on commercial and corporate dispute resolution with an emphasis on achieving rational business solutions or cost-effective judicial resolutions of such disputes. In addition to appearing in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels and administrative panels domestically, Voytek has experience in international aspects of litigation. He has represented entities and individuals in cases involving trade and contract disputes, property loss claims, bankruptcy proceedings, construction issues, commodities and derivatives matters, white-collar crime, personal injury, and claims raising questions under federal labor law. Voytek also advises clients on international facets of litigation and dispute resolution, as well as criminal and civil facets of various international income reporting obligations.
