Leonard Brazil is senior counsel for Offit Kurman’s Labor & Employment practice group. Leonard is an experienced employment trial attorney in jury and bench trials in State and Federal Courts on a broad range of employment claims. He also represents employers in administrative proceedings. Maintaining a proactive approach, Leonard advises companies on how to initiate anticipatory measures to avoid employment claims. Leonard performs employment audits by conducting extensive reviews of employers’ personnel practices and procedures to identify any violations of federal and state employment laws. Additionally, he is an active lecturer at seminars on a wide variety of employment issues such as wage and hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation issues.
Leonard is actively involved in the American Business Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the Employment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar and a past chairman of the Community Advisory Committee for Special Education for the West San Gabriel Valley School Districts. He has also served as a Special Olympics Coach and is past treasurer of a fundraising division of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
