Brian D. Briggs was appointed President of TIC Gums, Inc. in December 2016 after previously serving on the Board of Directors and as Chief Operating Officer. He was originally hired in 2014 as the Chief Financial Officer of TIC. Mr. Briggs has over 25 years of financial and operations experience in profitably building companies in both the public and private equity sectors, with a focus on operational excellence and M&A activity. Brian served for twelve years as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Custom Direct, Inc. (TSE: CDI), leading the company through a series of acquisitions and an eventual IPO. During that period, he was instrumental in building EZShield, Inc., a subsidiary of Custom Direct, as an identity theft protection business. Mr. Briggs had previous roles at Ashton-Potter, M&T Bank and Ernst & Young LLP.
