Howard Kurman

Howard K. Kurman is a nationally recognized employment attorney and co-founder of the mid-Atlantic regional law firm, Offit Kurman. Mr. Kurman regularly counsels clients on all aspects of proactive employment/labor issues. He represents employers ranging in size from as small as 20 employees to those employers with geographically disparate locations consisting of over 4,000 employees. Mr. Kurman assures, through regular contact with his clients, that they promulgate and maintain the most effective employment policies that will, to the extent possible, minimize their legal exposure in today’s litigious workplace. Michael Conley is Co-Managing Principal of the Philadelphia office and the founder of the firm’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group. His broad legal experience includes insurance coverage litigation, and general litigation. He exclusively represents policyholders, including closely held, publicly traded, nonprofit, and municipal entities, with claims against their insurance companies. His insurance coverage law experience includes handling coverage actions on behalf of insureds relating to claim under general liability policies, bad faith claims, defense obligations, law and ordinance exclusions, crime coverage, employment liability coverage, and coverage for data loss and environmental liability.
Dan Workmeister, CIC, CAWC, CRM
President, Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management
Dan is the President and a Commercial Risk Advisor at Consolidated. His ability to evaluate coverage, aid clients in implementing meaningful risk management practices and advise his customers on how to effectively market their insurance to carriers are what set him apart from the traditional insurance broker. He positions organizations to be in control of their outcomes and achieve favorable results year after year. Dan began his insurance career as an Underwriter with Travelers Insurance Company’s Small Commercial Department in Baltimore, Maryland. He later accepted a position as an Underwriter for Mid-Size Commercial Accounts. Because Dan wanted to work closely with the local business community to help them understand and manage their risks, he joined Consolidated in 2005 as a Risk Advisor. Dan’s experience as an Underwriter gives him an edge over the competition because he understands the information Underwriters need to make favorable coverage and pricing decisions for his clients. This extensive knowledge of coverage and exposures gained while working as an Underwriter makes him a great evaluator of your current risk management program.
Josh H. Marvel, CIC, AAI, CAWC
Commercial Risk Advisor, Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management
Josh Marvel is a Commercial Risk Advisor with Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management based in Owings Mills, Maryland. Armed with a unique background that started as a commercial insurance underwriter, Josh began his career as a Risk Advisor with Consolidated in 2008. Drawing off of his experience, Josh proudly works with clients to align their corporate and risk management goals in a way that will stand out to the insurance marketplace. Josh specializes in Business, Strategic, and Hazard risk identification and planning, as well as Experience Mod. Rating management, reputation management, and insurance contract reviews. Josh has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), and Certified Authority on Worker’s Compensation (CAWC) professional designations.
