“Back to the Office” – Tips for Legally and Practically Navigating the COVID-19 Workplace
August 24, 2021 at 12:00 pm EDT
Vaccines are now widely available and cases of COVD-19 infections for those vaccinated have decreased. This shift in the global pandemic has some businesses planning a potential “back to the office” launch at the end of the summer or in early Fall. Other businesses have already returned to a physical worksite, making updates about COVID variants extremely stressful.
Please join Offit Kurman Labor and Employment attorney, Theodora Stringham, and Jomez Consulting Principal, Sharifa Gomez, for a presentation focusing on the legality of transitioning employees back to the workplace amidst the ever-changing pandemic. Topics covered will include:
- Legal landscape of what can/cannot be required in opening office back.
- Navigating employee “refusals” to return to work and hybrid worksites.
- Addressing masks and vaccines with both customers and employees.
- Practical tips for limiting liability.
Stay ahead of the curve and manage your organization's exposure to potential future lawsuits.
Tuesday, August 24th
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
This program is pending 1.0 PDC for SHRM/HRCI Credits
