The Offit Kurman Charitable Foundation Donates to Feeding America and the Salvation Army

To help provide food, shelter, clothing, and support to those in need, the Offit Kurman Charitable Foundation has arranged to make generous contributions to Feeding America and the Salvation Army.

Founded in 2017, the Offit Kurman Charitable Foundation devotes the firm’s funds to worthy charities active in the communities Offit Kurman serves. Over the years, the Foundation has supported numerous funds, nonprofit organizations, and community development and enrichment programs.

“While many of us enjoy material comforts at this time of the year, there are far too many people out there suffering greatly—financially, emotionally, physically, and in some cases, in all of the above measures,” said Howard Kurman, Offit Kurman attorney and co-founder. “It is indeed baffling that in this country we still have a large degree of hunger and poverty which detrimentally impact an inordinate number of our fellow countrymen and women.”

Mr. Kurman added, “This holiday season, I hope each of our attorneys, clients, and peers will take the opportunity to reflect on all for which we should be grateful, and what we can all do individually to serve causes greater than our own. In this time of great division in this country let us recognize that irrespective of one’s national origin, race, religion, or color we are, at the most elemental level, all Americans, and that each one of us does our best as citizens when we reach beyond our own needs to fulfill those for individuals who cannot provide for themselves the basic necessities of life.”
