Polish Knights of Malta Honors Offit Kurman’s New York Team at “Mass in F” Charity Gala Concert
New York, NY | June 15, 2018 During a charity gala concert earlier this month, the US affiliate of the Polish Association of the Order of Malta honored and thanked Offit Kurman for the pro bono work the firm has provided over the past year. Offit Kurman attorney Wojciech “Voytek” Jackowski, who works closely with the Polish Knights of Malta, accepted the recognition on the firm’s behalf.
The Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta, commonly referred to as the Order of Malta, is a Catholic lay religious order whose members, employees, and volunteers provide humanitarian relief and medical aid in over 120 countries around the world. The institution is comprised of 13,500 Knights, Dames, and auxiliary members, and traces its history back to the 12th century. As a sovereign subject of international law and a neutral, apolitical entity, it follows a mission of upholding human dignity and caring for people in need.
On June 7th, Polish Knights of Malta (PKOM) organized a concert in New York City to benefit the Order of Malta’s hospital in Barczewo, Poland. The gala was held at St. Bartholomew’s Church at 325 Park Avenue, and featured the New York premiere of “the Mass in F,” composed by Prince Jozef M. Poniatowski, as well as a performance of Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
PKOM publicly recognized the services provided by Offit Kurman’s New York City team. The firm’s attorneys in Manhattan worked for the organization while at Menaker & Herrmann LLP, which affiliated with Offit Kurman earlier this year.

ABOUT WOJCIECH “VOYTEK” JACKOWSKI
Voytek’s practice focuses on commercial and corporate dispute resolution with an emphasis on achieving rational business solutions or cost-effective judicial resolutions of such disputes.
