Offit Kurman’s Pilar Nichols Appointed to Co-Chair of the MSBA’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Offit Kurman principal-level attorney Pilar Nichols has been appointed as the Co-Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s (“MSBA”) Diversity and Inclusion Committee, effective immediately through June 30, 2022.

The MSBA’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee assists the Board of Governors to create an environment in which all individuals are encouraged to join, thrive and become leaders of the Maryland State Bar Association. In addition, the committee is tasked with promoting and encouraging diversity and inclusion with the Maryland legal community.

At Offit Kurman, Pilar Nichols is a principal attorney in the Family Law Practice Group, where she has extensive trial experience and practices in various areas of Family Law. Her concentration focuses in the litigation and settlement of divorce, child custody and visitation, mediation, spousal and child support, property division, negotiating and drafting of separation agreements, guardianship proceedings, and adoptions. Her niche is in the area of domestic violence where she has extensive experience in representing clients in (and has presented on) domestic violence protective orders and any accompanying criminal charges.

Pilar is a native from Chile and speaks fluent Spanish.
