Offit Kurman Welcomes Two Attorneys to the Philadelphia Metropolitan Region

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Thomas Kramer and Brian Jeffers have joined the firm in the Philadelphia Metropolitan region. Mr. Kramer joins as Intellectual Property counsel in the Wilmington office and Mr. Jeffers joins the Construction practice as an associate in the Plymouth Meeting office.

Thomas Kramer, a registered patent attorney, focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, patent and trademark litigation, copyright, licensing, prosecution, inter partes review and patent post-grants.

Before joining private practice, Mr. Kramer served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Leonard P. Stark, where he assisted with the drafting of opinions and memorandum orders for civil litigation matters, including pharmaceutical patent disputes and Markman proceedings. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Kramer was a pharmacologist specializing in neuropharmacology, anesthesiology and pain management and a member of the faculty of the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a registered pharmacist.

Mr. Kramer received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina and his J.D. from Wake Forest School of Law.

Brian Jeffers practices in the areas of construction and commercial litigation, counseling and representing owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, construction managers and subcontractors in all aspects of construction law.

Mr. Jeffers regularly represents clients in litigation matters involving corporate disputes, contracts, business torts, insurance coverage disputes and other commercial matters. In addition, he handles the drafting, negotiation, enforcement and termination of contracts, and advises on work changes, defects, delays, inefficiencies and claims.

Mr. Jeffers received his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. from Delaware Law School, Widener University.
