Offit Kurman Welcomes Principal Howard Mulligan to New York Office

New York, NY – (May 20, 2024) – Offit Kurman is pleased to welcome Principal Howard Mulligan to the firm’s Business Law and Transactions practice, resident in the New York, New York office.

Mulligan specializes in fund formation and fund transactions, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, real estate, securities law, capital markets and business restructurings. With a focus on capital market transactions, including private and public offerings, he advises on acquisitions in cannabis and hemp, equipment leases, real estate and synthetic transactions. Mulligan offers SEC compliance counsel and expert services in structured finance.

Recently, Mulligan has provided guidance to decentralized finance lenders, cryptocurrency and blockchain-related entities as well as name, image and likeness companies. He represents hedge and private equity funds, conducts asset purchases in various sectors, and has testified before the House Financial Services Committee.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences, he’s also a contributor to Fox Business Network, CNBC, and Bloomberg News.

Beyond law, he’s committed to philanthropy in New York City, supporting various organizations including The Humane Society, UJA Federation-New York and City Harvest.

Mulligan earned his J.D., cum laude, from University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was Executive Editor of Notre Dame Law Review and his B.A., summa cum laude, from University of Scranton.
