Offit Kurman Welcomes John Tomlin to its Real Estate and Transactions Group in White Plains
Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that John Tomlin has joined the firm as a Principal in the Real Estate Law and Transactions Group. The addition of Mr. Tomlin to Offit Kurman’s recently opened White Plains Office furthers the firm’s approach to the purposeful growth of sophisticated legal services in Westchester County.
Mr. Tomlin’s practice focuses on representing developers and investors in connection with the construction and financing of real estate projects. A former civil engineer before entering law, Mr. Tomlin can counsel clients on both the legal and technical aspects of new development.
Mr. Tomlin also represents purchasers and sellers in sophisticated real estate transactions and has extensive commercial leasing experience representing landlords and tenants in all property types and ground leasing. Mr. Tomlin also incorporates both his legal and engineering expertise to counsel clients on due diligence for acquisitions.
In addition to his real estate practice, Mr. Tomlin regularly represents business owners and investors in joint ventures, financing, equity investments and other corporate-related matters.
Mr. Tomlin received his Civil Engineering Degree from Queen’s University in Canada and his J.D. from Pace University School of Law. He is also accredited as LEED® AP by the Green Building Council.
