Offit Kurman Real Estate Attorneys to Present at NBI Seminar

Bethesda, MD | April 9, 2018On Monday April 9th Offit Kurman Real Estate attorneys Mark Moorstein and Theodora Stringham will be presenting at National Business Institute’s Road and Easement Law From A to Z seminar.  Mr. Moorstein will be presenting a lecture on road and access “pitfalls” in Virginia – focusing on various questions regarding the creation and operation of roads. The questions will range from such “simple” issues as “What is a road?” to how to develop property with road and transportation considerations. Because many of the issues are statutory, he will also review some of the laws of Virginia and their evolution.  Ms. Stringham’s “Common Road and Access Problems and Solutions” presentation will focus on identifying practical solutions to easement issues in Virginia. Ms. Stringham will discuss Virginia law surrounding disputes between landowners, liability involving easements, and overweight vehicle permits. A great guide for land use attorneys and those in the Real Estate industry navigating easement problems.
