Offit Kurman IP Principal Laura Winston Moderates 4D Printing Tech Panel at INTA 2019

According to Offit Kurman IP attorney Laura Winston, 4D printing allows for the production of objects with “programmable materials” that react and change in response to “external stimuli, such as heat, water, or pressure.” Ms. Winston recently moderated an educational session about the technology at The International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 2019 Annual Meeting. The panel, which included HP assistant general counsel Carolyn Knecht and leading U.K. intellectual property attorney Dr. Julian Potter, discussed the numerous opportunities and risks 4D printing presents.
