Offit Kurman Grows Charlotte Office with Addition of New Attorney

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Paige Vankooten has joined the firm’s Charlotte office.

 

Associate Paige Vankooten has joined the firm’s Business Law and Transactions group. Ms. Vankooten represents both small and large businesses and assists her clients by advising on the initial structure of their entity, drafting employment contracts, leases, and any other business-related contract needs. She also provides counsel in the sale and purchase of businesses or in mergers. Ms. Vankooten also assists clients with their estate planning needs.

Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Ms. Vankooten worked for the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts as a Judicial Fellow, where she served as a law clerk for the 370 trial court judges across North Carolina  Additionally, she clerked at the North Carolina Business Court during law school for both Judge Gale in Greensboro and Judge Bledsoe in Charlotte and served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Barbara Jackson at the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Ms. Vankooten received her B.B.A. from Austin Peay State University and her J.D. from Elon University School of Law.
