Offit Kurman is pleased to announce the appointment of three new practice group leaders: Karin Corbett (Construction Law) and Wojciech ‘Voytek’ Jackowski (Commercial Litigation - North). Ms. Corbett, Mr. Jackowski, and Ms. Taylor will commence their new roles on October 1st, 2020. Practice Group Leaders are tasked with providing legal leadership, management, marketing, and client satisfaction strategies within their respective practice groups.
“Offit Kurman is fortunate to have so many qualified leaders among our ranks,” said Offit Kurman Management Committee member, John Raftery. “ In choosing attorneys to oversee our practice groups, the Management Committee strives to select those who can ensure the success of our strategic vision while giving capable attorneys a chance to demonstrate leadership abilities. Our practice groups are part of the foundation on which our firm culture is based. Well directed practice groups drive innovation in client services and cross-marketing capabilities more effectively.”
Karin Corbett, whose practice balances construction litigation, risk management and compliance, and business planning, will assume the leadership of the Construction Group from Brian Loffredo. Mr. Loffredo has also been an integral part of the firm’s growth initiative, and has helped enhance the Construction Litigation practice group’s presence across the firm’s regions.
