Offit Kurman Adds Seven Lawyers from Schnader Harrison
PHILADELPHIA, PA – (Sept. 8, 2023) – Offit Kurman welcomes the additions of Brad Jacobs, Ronald Karam, W. Drew Kastner and Stephenie Yeung as principals, Deborah Rouse as counsel and Andrew Chou and Niamh Drury as associates from Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. Effective Sept. 1, Karam, Kastner, Rouse and Yeung join the firm’s Philadelphia office, while Jacobs and Drury join in New York City and Chou joins in Bethesda.

Brad Jacobs is focused on real estate law, handling the full spectrum of transactions involved in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties, as well as leasing, lending and other secured financing transactions, and 1031 exchange transactions.
Ronald Karam focuses on Intellectual property, licensing and information technology transactional matters, as well as litigation of patent and copyright infringement actions and other commercial disputes.
W. Drew Kastner is an experienced intellectual property attorney who handles all aspects of trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement and licensing, including developing, negotiating, and implementing new licensing agreements, transactions and branding strategies for both licensors and licensees. He is also well-versed in entertainment, music and sports law.
Stephenie Yeung counsels clients on issues of data privacy and protection, including compliance with US state and international data protection laws. Additionally, her practice is focused on protecting clients’ intellectual property through securing trademark and copyright registrations from the USPTO and Copyright Office, licensing assets, and enforcing IP rights.
Deborah Rouse has been counseling clients for many years on a full range of services in the areas of construction, real estate and land use matters. She has a specialty in addressing and negotiating AIA contract issues for owners, landlords and tenants.
Andrew Chou focuses on information technology transactions and protecting clients’ intellectual property through securing trademark registrations from the USPTO and licensing and enforcement of trademark rights.
Niamh Drury is experienced in a wide range of intellectual property matters, particularly in the clearing and licensing of copyright, trademark, and name, image and likeness/ NIL rights. She also represents a broad range of clients in the registration, enforcement and defense of trademarks and copyrights. Additionally, Drury is an experienced mergers and acquisitions / M&A attorney, representing both buyers and sellers in various industries.
