Offit Kurman Adds Four Attorneys to the Bethesda Office

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Robert Graham, Dusko Stojkov, Jacquisha Cardwell-Baltimore and Teal Hinga have joined the firm’s Bethesda office.

Principal Robert Graham is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation group. He specializes in representing a wide range of federal grantees, including affordable housing providers, community health centers and other organizations that provide services to populations in need. His extensive litigation experience includes trial, appellate and administrative representation. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Graham served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Eugene E. Siler of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Mr. Graham received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law.

Principal Dusko Stojkov has joined the firm’s Business Law and Transactions group. His practice focuses on corporate and business tax planning for small and mid-size businesses. Mr. Stojkov counsels clients on a broad range of business and tax-related matters, including choice of entity planning, complex tax allocation and distribution provisions in partnership and LLC agreements, tax-efficient structuring of acquisitions and divestitures and M&A transactions. He also advises on U.S. withholding and tax filing requirements, tax planning for U.S. multinationals and ensuring compliance with FIRPTA.

Mr. Stojkov received his LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.

Jacquisha Cardwell-Baltimore and Teal Hinga have both joined the firm’s Landlord Representation group as Associates.

Ms. Cardwell-Baltimore is a client advocate and experienced litigator who is skilled in discovery, client communication negotiation and trial advocacy, representing landlords of all sizes in residential and commercial litigation.

She received her B.A. from the University of Maryland and her J.D. from Catholic University.

Ms. Hinga works closely with clients on drafting, filing and arguing discovery and judgment motions and negotiating with opposing parties to avoid litigation and reach a resolution. She performs extensive discovery, including pretrial assessment and research for national clients, examines and cross-examines witnesses during deposition and trial, and assumes all trial-related responsibilities from filing a complaint to post-judgment collection.

Ms. Hinga received her B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park and her J.D. from Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
