Maryland’s Daily Record Names Offit Kurman’s Linda S. Ostovitz to its 2021 List of Top 100 Women and its Circle of Excellence
Columbia, MD – March 31, 2021
Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that family law attorney Linda Sorg Ostovitz, has been selected by The Daily Record as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. This marks the third year that Ms. Ostovitz has received this honor, gaining her entrance to The Daily Record’s prestigious Circle of Excellence.
Maryland’s Top 100 Women recognizes high-achieving Maryland women who are making an impact through their leadership, community service, and mentoring. Winners are selected by past Top 100 Women and business leaders. There will be an online recognition event to celebrate the winners on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. EST. Throughout her 40 years of practice, Ms. Ostovitz has been recognized as a leader, educator and advocate. She serves as the Legal Operations Chair in the Office of Managing Principal at Offit Kurman while simultaneously practicing family law. Ms. Ostovitz holds a prestigious fellowship in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is the Vice President of the Maryland Chapter. She is the Chair-Elect of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, is the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Columbia Patuxent, and sits on the boards of Offit Kurman and Respite Retreats. She was previously recognized as a Top 100 Woman in 2015 and 2019 by The Daily Record, and as a Her Mind Community Hero in 2020.
Ms. Ostovitz represents clients in Maryland’s Howard, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Montgomery and Baltimore counties. Her practice focuses exclusively on divorce litigation and mediation, child custody and access, child support, alimony, business valuation, and property and asset distribution. In addition to providing legal representation in court, Ms. Ostovitz provides mediation services and is an AAML certified arbitrator.
