Ian Thomas Joins Offit Kurman in Washington, D.C.

Washington, DC | April 16, 2018 Offit Kurman is pleased to announce today that Ian Thomas has joined the firm’s office in Washington, D.C., as an  attorney with the Commercial Litigation practice group.

Before joining Offit Kurman, Mr. Thomas was an associate at a boutique law firm in Bethesda.  Prior to that, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Martha Royster in New Jersey Superior Court in Hudson County. He also interned for the New York City Council, the Honorable Lawrence Maron in New Jersey Superior Court, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

While attending New York Law School, Mr. Thomas was the chairperson of the Moot Court Association where he was named to the Order of the Barristers, in recognition of excellence in oral and written advocacy.  He graduated magna cum laude.

Outside of the courtroom, Ian stays active in the legal community by engaging in pro bono work and through his participation in the William B. Bryant American Inn of Court.
