Elizabeth Hodges Elected as President of North Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Hodges, a Family Law attorney in the firm’s Charlotte region, has been elected as President of the North Carolina chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers for 2021.

Beth Hodges’ practice is devoted exclusively to family law. Her cases involve the representation of clients whose legal issues require resolution through negotiation and settlement, or alternatively litigation of simple and complex financial and non-financial issues and disputes. In her family law practice, Beth handles equitable distribution, alimony, child support, and child custody cases, among others. Her cases also include drafting premarital agreements, separation agreements, postnuptial agreements, parenting agreements, and property settlement agreements. She has settled numerous cases through mediation and arbitration, in addition to resolving matters through litigation. Beth is also certified as a family law specialist by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers is a national organization founded in 1962 by highly regarded domestic relations attorneys “to provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.” There are approximately  1650 Fellows collectively representing all  50 states at the present.
