OK at Work: New York Pay Transparency Law

This week on OK at Work, Sarah Sawyer and Russell Berger discuss the status of pay transparency laws as the New York pay transparency law takes effect. As of November 1st, employers with at least four workers who post a job that may be performed in New York City must include salary ranges. New York City is not the first and will not be the last to implement pay transparency laws, causing this new law to have broader market impacts outside the city. Listen to learn more about what employers, especially those casting wide nets when searching for candidates, should consider from a practical and legal standpoint.
