Success is not guaranteed in life
“Success isn’t owned, it’s leased. And rent is due every day.”
– J.J. Watt, Houston Texans
Success is not guaranteed in life. And success today does not mean more success tomorrow. Athletes may win their game this week and next week but ultimately fail at their championship goals. Business follows suit. I know that success ensues from preparation, effort and execution. It does not come without a cost (i.e., rent) however. With 2020 significantly impacted by Covid and host of other ailments, what “rent” are you paying to pave your business success today and tomorrow. 2021 is around the corner. Paying our rent will help maximize our future opportunities. As JJ quotes, “success isn’t owned. . .” I would add that success isn’t owed either.
