Read & Share: The Best-Performing CEOs in the World
Who has been crowned the best-performing CEO? The co-founder of graphics processor company Nvidia, Jensen Huang, was given that title by the most recent 2019 Harvard Business Review CEO ranking. The publication rated CEOs by their companies’ financial performance and factored in 30 percent of their environmental, social, and governance ratings.
There are six CEO’s in the top 10 that are with U.S. companies, however, only two of these six are American born. Four of the CEOs of U.S. companies, including Jensen Huang, were born in India. Ajay Banga of Mastercard is from Pune, while Shantanu Narayen of Adobe and Satya Nadella of Microsoft were both born in Hyderabad. Other nationalities featured on the list were French, Spanish, and Belgian. The highest-ranking woman was American Nancy McKinstry at Dutch information services company Wolters Kluwer, ranked 16.
