This teleconference program is presented by the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of International Law, sponsored by the ABA Section of international Law Immigration and Naturalization Committee, and co-sponsored by the ABA Section of International Corporate Counsel Committee.
Mohammad Syed, Program Chair, will be speaking on the panel along with other leading experts, including top government officials, to discuss visa options for start-ups and entrepreneurs in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Singapore.
Topics include:
Common global immigration pitfalls that start-ups and entrepreneurs face, when visas and work permits are required, limitations on the duration of stay, and challenges obtaining work permits (including challenges for small or new companies). This panel will also discuss establishing a global immigration compliance program that works in a fast-paced start-up environment. Additionally, it will discuss how different jurisdictions work to attract startups and the role of immigration policies.
