On July 10, 2018, The National Labor Relations Board (also commonly referred to as "the Board”) announced that it is launching a pilot Alternative Dispute Resolution program. As the Board explained in its press release, the new program will increase participation opportunities for parties having matters before the Board, and help to facilitate mutually satisfactory settlements. The Board stated that under the new pilot program the NLRB’s office of the executive secretary will reach out to parties with cases pending before the Board to determine if their cases are appropriate for inclusion in the ADR program. The program could be significantly beneficial for anybody that is accused of an unfair labor practice. To learn more about the Board’s pilot program, listen to this week’s Telebrief here.
