Thomas Medlin believes that an attorney should be the client’s confidant, advisor, advocate and friend. It’s a relationship built on trust, loyalty and integrity. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed being a problem solver for clients who have humbled him with their trust and confidence.
Thomas boasts an impressive career of legal experience which includes commercial real estate transactions, corporate and municipal law, estate planning and administration, civil litigation, corporate acquisitions and ownership planning. He also has extensive experience with warehousing properties, multifamily properties, retail centers, property acquisitions for mega-site development and serving as lender’s counsel on commercial financing transactions. He currently focuses his practice on commercial and industrial real estate transactions, development and financing.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University School of Law, Thomas was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1985. During his early career, he practiced general law including criminal, family, real estate, personal injury and bankruptcy. In 2002, he changed his focus to civil litigation, estate and trust planning and commercial real estate transactions.
