Sarah Goldenthal is a Principal in the firm’s Family Law practice group, representing clients in New Jersey and New York. Sarah focuses her practice on all aspects of family law matters and has extensive experience negotiating, resolving and litigating complex, contested family and matrimonial issues. A steadfast litigator and advocate for her clients, she regularly advises clients on custody and parenting time, distribution of marital assets, obtaining proper and necessary child and spousal support, negotiating prenuptial agreements, handling adoptions and matters involving domestic violence.
Sarah has been appointed by the Court to serve as a Parent Coordinator and as a Guardian ad Litem in contested custody matters. Sarah is committed to her legal work on behalf of families and children. She provides compassionate yet zealous representation tailored to her client’s needs and goals.
Upon graduation from law school, Sarah served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Melchionne, who is now the Presiding Judge of the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Before attending law school, Sarah was a Teach For America Corps Member and a New York City public school teacher.
