Paul R. Recupero is an associate attorney in the firm’s Environmental and Sustainability and Real Estate Law and Transactions practice groups. Paul has built his career upon his dedication to pressing environmental and sustainability issues. Paul has developed extensive experience with a wide range of environmental laws and regulations, including the federal Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Endangered Species Act (ESA), as well as the New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act (Spill Act), Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), “Tech Regs” and “ARCCS,” Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), Flood Hazard Area Control Act, Freshwater Wetlands Protection Act, Waterfront Development Act, Clean Water Act and NJPDES permits, Solid Waste Utility Regulations (N.J.A.C. 7:26H) and A-901 requirements, and the New Jersey Environmental Justice Law.
Early in Paul’s career, he served as Assistant District Counsel for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District, representing USACE in connection with environmental law, real estate matters involving the acquisition, management, and disposal of real Government property, as well as federal contract disputes litigation.
