Madeline has handled all aspects of the investigation and litigation of complex and high-exposure first-party and third-party insurance coverage and liability matters in numerous state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, appraisal, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Her experience includes insurance bad faith and large-loss property claims for both residential and commercial fire damage, complex business interruption losses, construction claims, arson and fraud, COVID-19 and Legionella claims, mortgage and bank fraud, losses under jewelers block policies, multi-school district water and mold claims, and catastrophic collapses, hurricanes, hailstorms, and other extreme weather events. An authority on insurance-related topics, Madeline has authored numerous articles and commentaries, and has lectured at continuing legal education and in-house programs, on insurance coverage and bad faith/extra-contractual issues.
