James Q. Fisher is an attorney in Offit Kurman’s Estates and Trusts practice group. He advises clients on trust and estate administration, probate administration and tax issues, including income tax, capital gains tax, property tax, gift tax, estate tax and generation-skipping transfer tax. A substantial part of Mr. Fisher’s practice focuses on customized gift, estate and succession planning for individuals with medium or large estates.
Mr. Fisher regularly works with clients on simple and complex estate and succession plans, preparing documents ranging from traditional wills and trusts to comprehensive wealth transfer documents. Clients routinely seek his advice on business, succession and asset preservation matters. He is certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law.
