Dayshon Wagner is an attorney in the firm’s Landlord Representation group. Ms. Wagner focuses her practice on litigation and administrative matters for corporations, individuals and small businesses, counseling clients on fair housing laws, compliance with local and federal administrative regulations. She advises clients on compliance with housing laws, internal and external company policies, negotiating and drafting commercial and residential leases and many other aspects of property management and ownership.
Ms. Wagner works on behalf of property management companies which includes defending against allegations of DC housing code violations, discrimination and other landlord-tenant disputes. She is a pragmatic problem-solver in both mediation and litigation who is adept at focusing on the value of case to determine to the most efficient and effective solution for her clients. Ms. Wagner is also experienced with employment law matters and has represented clients before the federal and local administrative bodies in matters surrounding FMLA and Title VII.
Previously Ms. Wagner served as an attorney for federal government agencies, including the Board of Veterans Appeals and the Small business Administration. She also held a Judicial Clerkship in the Seventh Circuit of Maryland with Judge Sheila R. Tillerson Adams.
