John T. Williams
Chairman, CEO at Jamison Door Company

John became CEO of Jamison Door Company in 2000 as the company, founded in 1906, faced an existential crisis.  By building a team of people and adding major product lines. the company has flourished, more than tripling in size. He began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Ernst in San Antonio and then left to join Harte-Hanks, then an NYSE  national media company. He was Treasurer and then went into operations as a publisher and group president of several newspapers. In 1991 he became President/CEO of Gray Communications (now Gray Television) leading them from the pink sheets to the NYSE. Gray owned newspapers and TV stations and a variety of other businesses. After moving to Panama City, FL, in 1996 to retire and decompress, his son-in-law summoned him to quit playing so much golf and come lead Jamison back to life so he and his wife moved to Baltimore.
