Maryland Governor Appoints Offit Kurman Principal Alex Allman to Harford County Circuit Court

(December 19, 2022) – Governor Larry Hogan has appointed Alex M. Allman to the Harford County Circuit Court. This trial court of general jurisdiction was established in 1851 by the Maryland Constitution. It is located in Bel Air, Maryland, which is the county seat of Harford County. Along with the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, it is part of the Third Judicial Circuit and the Second Appellate Circuit and has six full-time judges and three family law/juvenile magistrates.  The mission of the court is to bring a fair, just and respectful resolution of matters before the court for citizens and the community at large.

Currently, a Principal of Offit Kurman, P.A., Mr. Allman has been licensed to practice law in Maryland for twenty-two years and has been with the firm since 2004. He is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation and family law groups, working primarily in Harford, Baltimore and Anne Arundel Counties, as well as Maryland’s appellate courts. Mr. Allman is an MSBA-trained mediator and has broad experience representing business clients and handling and trying cases before all levels of the Maryland court system. Prior to practicing law, he clerked for the Honorable William Spellbring, Jr. in the Prince George’s County Circuit Court.  Alex received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee, and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, cum laude.
