COVID-19 has rocked the economy. Small businesses, in particular, have been devastated by stay-at-home orders and a related lack of spending. The Payroll Protection Program (“PPP”) was unveiled by Congress as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”).
This legislation seeks to ease the blow to small businesses by providing readily available loans. However – implementation – and how to actually qualify for a loan – has been less than smooth.
