Practice Focus
Ms. McDonald focuses her practice in medical malpractice defense litigation, representing hospitals, physicians and nurses in professional negligence actions. Ms. McDonald provides critical insight and support in all stages of the litigation process, including discovery, preparing motions for summary judgment, motions in limine, and drafting post-trial and appellate briefs. In addition, Ms. McDonald has experience in the areas of complex commercial litigation and employment law.

Ms. McDonald is a volunteer attorney with the SeniorLaw Center, a non-profit organization providing civil legal services to low income Pennsylvania seniors.  Ms. McDonald is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, State Civil Litigation Section and the Women in the Profession Committee.  She is also a member of Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Previous Work
Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Ms. McDonald worked as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Albert W. Sheppard, Jr., Team Leader of the Commerce Court in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.  Ms. McDonald interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Legal Counsel, in Washington, D.C. as a law student.
