Mr. Bushman has been an active trial lawyer, specializing in major jury civil litigation since 1956. His area of specialization is medical malpractice, dental malpractice and defense litigation. Mr. Bushman has enjoyed extraordinary success obtaining defense verdicts, dismissals, summary judgments and appellate reviews on behalf of his physician and hospital clients in major medical malpractice litigation.

Admitted to practice before all of the Appellate Courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Federal District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, Third Circuit Court of Appeals and Interstate Commerce Commission.
Points of Distinction
Mr. Bushman has testified extensively before the Senate and House Insurance Committees, representing the Philadelphia Bar Association in his capacity as Chairman of the Civil Legislation Committee. He served on a special committee to draft the Healthcare Services Malpractice Act which was the initial statute governing malpractice litigation. He has participated in radio talk shows on the subject of malpractice and civil litigation and has served as a panel member/lecturer on medical malpractice at the Bench Bar Conference. Mr. Bushman is a former member of the adjunct faculty of the Temple University School of Law where he lectured on trial advocacy and malpractice over a period of ten years. He is a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and has taught medical malpractice in the Continuing Legal Education Program for Lawyers. He has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Athens Law School, Temple University Hospital and Temple University School of Dentistry.
Mr. Bushman serves as a Judge Pro Tem of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. He is the Vice-President of the Temple University Law Foundation and serves on the Temple University School of Law Board of Visitors.
Mr. Bushman has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer on multiple occasions.
